first task
1) Why did you choose A Level Media Studies?
I really love TV and film and would like a career revolving around it in the future.
2) Did you take GCSE Media Studies (either here at Greenford or a different school)?
No, I didn't.
3) If you answered yes to Q2, what grade did you achieve in GCSE Media? What coursework task did you complete? What would you say your strengths and weaknesses were in GCSE Media?
4) What grade do you hope to achieve in A Level Media?
A*
5) What are your current thoughts about your next steps after A Levels - university, apprenticeship, work?
Hopefully get into a university to carry on studying media and pursue a career in film making.
6) What do you think the biggest MEDIA story of 2023 has been and why?
The increase in use of AI and its rapid development. I think this is the biggest due to the effect it can potentially have on the future of everyone's lives and the current effect it already has.
7) What media sources do you use to find out about news and current affairs?
X[twitter], BBC and ITV on TV.
8) What was the last film you watched?
Evil Dead 2
9) What is your favourite ever TV series?
Dexter
10) How many hours do you spend online on an average day? Is this too little, too much or about right? Why? (If you have an iPhone you can use Screen Time to get an accurate figure of how much you use your phone).
I usually spend around 4 hours a day online. I think that's about right because it's enough to the point where I can relax and have fun whilst not being stuck to a screen for the whole day and it gives me plenty of time to do other things like study and chill.
